As you begin listening to this teaching, you’ll be convinced that you’re hearing one of Mark’s motivational audios, because Mark purposely makes this sound like a business/motivational presentation – to start.  In fact, for about the first 20 minutes, you’ll hear him tell stories about Sony Corporation of Japan and Philips Corporation of the Netherlands, of Swiss watches and the training of runners for the original Olympic Games in Greece. 

And, just when you’re positive that he isn’t talking about the Bible at all, WHAM!  He hits you with the true meaning of repentance, and takes you on a journey of logic and spiritual reasoning, winding up at the point of making a decision for Christ.

That’s right, this teaching was recorded on a Sunday morning after a business convention where Mark spoke to more than 5,000 people.  He purposely presented this message as if it were another motivational presentation, and then, made an altar call, where approximately 3,500 people came forward that morning, to raise both hands in the air, as a sign of surrender to Jesus Christ, and repeated the Sinner’s Prayer with Mark, as he introduced them to our Savior. 

This is the ideal way to present Christ to someone who doesn’t want church, or organized religion.  They’ll be so “hooked” by the time Mark mentions the Bible, it’s unlikely that they will stop listening until they’ve prayed the prayer of repentance with Mark at the end.
