In Acts chapter 10, the Lord told Cornelius that his prayers & alms giving had come up before the Lord as a remembrance. God was commending him for his generosity, and saying that every time He thought of Cornelius, He was reminded of his prayer life and his generous heart, reminded to bless him. In Philippians 4, the Apostle Paul commended and thanked the Philippians, because they had sent financial support to him on more than one occasion. In fact, in verse 15, he said, “no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.” It was after he acknowledged their sacrificial giving that he wrote the often quoted verse, Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” So, it seems obvious that, this promise is given only to those who are generous in their support of the work of God.
God acknowledges and commends our generosity in giving. So in that spirit, we want to acknowledge those who have sowed generously to help with the cost of creating and maintaining this website.
