Mark’s Clean Cajun Humor!

It all started when…

Mark always had a funny side as a child… and it just kept growing with him. Funny and clean is his routine!

When Mark first began speaking in business conventions, people would introduce Mark as a preacher.  Mark immediately noticed that, as soon as people heard that, many of those who had paid to attend a convention to learn business success principles, would quickly make their exit as he took the stage, afraid that a preacher would grab the microphone and begin telling them that money is evil. 

He actually explains, in his business and financial teachings, that money is not evil.  The Bible says that it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil.  Mark says that most of the people who love money don’t have any, because they love it too much!  He explains that “It’s not what you have that makes you evil, but what you love.”

 Growing up in South Louisiana, Mark had heard the jokes about Louisiana’s Cajun people all his life.  The main 2 people mentioned in these jokes are Boudreaux & Thibodeaux.  So, when he saw that people were afraid to hear a preacher speak at a business event, Mark told the announcers to introduce him only as a motivational speaker.  He said that he would tell them he was a preacher when they could “handle” that information.  So, he would go on stage, tell a couple of Boudreaux & Thibodeaux jokes (using a fairly authentic Cajun accent), and when everyone was laughing, he’d then inform them that he is a minister.  By then, they would be having so much fun listening, they’d want to stay to hear what else he had to stay.

These comedy albums were literally a result of “public demand”.  People kept going to Mark’s book table in the lobbies at convention centers, asking for his comedy recordings.  So, he eventually recorded these, at their request.  These are not only funny, but they contain some of the rarest comedy available today – jokes your kids can hear too!  They’re funny AND clean jokes!  You’ll love them all.
